Exmoor
offers some of the best riding country in England so why not bring
your horse with you and enjoy a holiday together! You can ride across
heather-clad moors, down the wooded valleys or along the coast using
some 400 miles of Exmoor bridle paths. Roadwork is minimal from
all properties. Access to stunning moorland is easy.
Several
members of the Exmoor Holiday Group provide high
quality stabling and services for riders. All of
the establishments offering holidays for horses
are open all year. You stay in quality, inspected
and graded Bed & Breakfast or Self Catering
farm and country accommodation and your horse is
stabled close by. Most of our members can provide
turnout if you require it. Have a look at our Stabling
List below to select the accommodation
for you and your horse. Stabling is available from
as little as £5 per night. Instructors, farriers,
vets and every manner of equine expertise are available
at reasonable cost. Ordnance survey maps are available
for loan. Some properties also offer guided routes
marked on maps with notes to help you on your way.
Some offer a ridden escort. If you would like to
hire a horse while here then please look at our
Hire a Horse List

Exmoor Holiday Group accommodation, whether Bed
& Breakfast or Self Catering, the owners will
be happy to suggest where you can hire suitable
horses nearby. You can also book a tailor-made riding
holiday from our All
Inclusive Riding Holiday List below.
